In reply to your letter, leg to acquaint you, for the information of Mr. Secretary Cardwell, that the thik "Berwickshire", of London, Official Number 14536, 1111 You's, apt London on or about the 28th of May 1862, bound on a voyage to Mong động, but the name of Joseph Escribano, does not appear in the Official Log Bood or lebedules for the voyage. On reference to Mesers, John Willis & sou, of 18 East India Chande London, The Owners of the ship, I am in

Shave to observe that a Seaman the name of Francis lautos, 22 years of age, born at Barcelona, appears to have been the only Mpanish leaman who served on board the ship during the boyage and he was discharged in London on the 157 May 1863.
